About The Store

Hi!  I'm Aaron Whited, the owner of First City Records located at 166 Front St in gorgeous downtown Marietta, OH!  I was born in 1983 so I grew up in the best generation for toys and music.  My entire life I have been nostalgic and obsessed with toys, games and music.  At 16 I started collecting records.  I started out like everyone else buying records at thrift stores but now into my 40’s, I have amassed an insane collection full of rarities and valuables from around the globe!   

When COVID began I quit my day job to take care of my kids so I opened a small auto detailing business out of my garage.  While that has taken off and pays the bills I had been lacking any real passion for my time.  So that is where First City Records got dreamed up.  I wanted to share my love of music with everyone!  We have since launched this website, opened a brick & mortar store and ship vinyl all over the country!
